HISTORY OF MURSLEY EVENT - SEPTEMBER 30th - MURSLEY VILLAGE HALL

For the first time over 1000 photos, collected and collated by Melinda Cole in digital form from Mursley residents past and present and from those with village connections, have been printed out and will be displayed for you to explore. Many of the original images were fifty to a hundred years old.

 

 

Programme of events:

10am – 4pm Display of photos and memorabilia Melinda and hopefully a number of our older residents who grew up in the village, will be there to talk to you and answer questions.

Entry: £2 / Adult 18 + over, Children free Pay on door.

 

7.30pm – approx 10pm: A slide presentation. Melinda will be putting stories and recollections to the photos, with an interval for cheese & wine (soft drink for children). There will be an opportunity for Q & A at the end.

Entry £10/Adult 18+over, Children £5 (includes cheese & drink)

Anyone buying a ticket for the evening presentation can use that ticket for free access to the village hall photo display during the day.
