There have been many changes to parishes, manors and hamlets since Buckinghamshire was first mentioned in records in 1016. This has led to some places being shown as both a hamlet and a parish. Some places may appear in more than one parish also due to the changes of boundaries as well as creation of new parishes over two thousand years. While not every item listed below is strictly a parish, it is better to include them so that users can further their own research.
