Established in 1976, the Buckinghamshire Family History Society is a charity registered in England and Wales. We research and publish information about Buckinghamshire to assist family historians in their research.
In our online shop you will find research material published in booklet, microfiche and CD formats. CDs are designed for PC systems and are NOT compatible with Apple MAC systems. Microfiche (Fiche) require a microfiche reader. Many libraries and Record Offices have microfiche readers. If you are in any doubt about the format or contents of any item please contact the Publications Manager at the Society before ordering.
We can accept payment using Visa and Mastercard credit cards. regretably we cannot accept payment by Debit Card. When you complete your order you will be redirected to our Payment Service Provider (Protx) who will manage your card payment. Bucks FHS will not see your credit card details as part of your transaction. You will receive an email confirming your order details when the payment has been completed. Protx is the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the UK and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sage. Please note that the shop is separate from the rest of the site. You do not need to log in to purchase items. You will be allocated a user name and password for the shop if you complete a purchase whether you are a Society member or not. This user name and password will not gain access to the Society's main site.
These prices are for purchasing through our on-line shop only. Postage & packing will be added to your order during the check out process. If you wish to purchase items by post (with payment by cheque or credit card) please click here to obtain our Publications Catalogue for prices including postage and packing. Do NOT use the prices in the shop when purchasing items by post, this will delay your order.
