Ephrain Glenister was convicted of using a snare, or rather 10 snares. Fine of £2 10s and 12s costsin default two months hard labour.
George Saunders was fined 1s with 14s 6d costs for using a snare. With 14 days if in default.

Aylesbury
The state of Aylesbury gaol, on a comparison with former years, is highly satisfactory. The total number of prisoners was on Wednesday last only 101; last year at the same time it was 124. It is gratifying also to find that there has been a diminution in the number of persons committed for poaching during the year.
Inquest
On Tuesday an inquest was held in the parish of Wooburn, on view of the body of a poor man, named Stephen Hance, aged 68 years, a pauper of that parish, who was found dead the previous day in a barn of Mr.Andrews, of the Mother Red Cap public-house. Verdict - "Died by the visitation of God."

Amersham - Petty Sessions - Family

John Coleman was convicted of non-maintence of wife. The defendants real name was Thomas Coleman. The defendants wife is an inmate of the Asylum and chargeable to the common fund of the Amersham Union.
Order 4/- per week and costs of 10/6.
A young man named Stockwell appeared before the Board and explained his presence in the Workhouse by stating that he left his place of work because he could not get enough money.
In 1940 the Eton Union Workhouse hospital was called Albert House. In 1948 the Health Service was set up and the Eton Union Workhouse hospital was transferred to the new service.
This is the regulations for the diet of workhouse inmates agreed by the Eton Board of Guardians on the 8th June 1835.

Elizabeth Ayres was charged with leaving the workhouse without permission and taking workhouse clothing.
Notes from Winslow Workhouse
27th January 1873
Patrick Collier was charged with begging alms. The case was proven but dismissed with a caution.
