The last will and testament of John HILL late while he lived of Lowsely Rowe in the county & archdeaconry of Bucks wch he made and declared by word of mouth uppon the xxvj th daye of Aprill anno dni 1599 in the psence of Augustine BALDWINE of Sanderton, John DAVILL of Lowsely Rowe, Robert STOLWARD of the same and Henry IVES of the same,

Imprimis he gave to his sonne Thomas HILL his coppie hold land

Item he gave to his sonne Thomas HILL the howse that Joane NEWMAN dwells in and the lands that belong unto yt being by estimation halfe a yard of ffrehold land

Item he willed that the rest of his children should have five pownds apeece and that his wife should have the rest of his goods and the use of all his lands both ffrehold and coppie hold during her widowhood towards her maintenance and the bringing up of her children
