Steve Bacon has been researching the life of a WW2 Merchant Navy officer: Eve Bacon’s father. He was a merchant seaman during the 2nd World War and he had one or two close calls. Hear how he survived and how the German U-Boats tried to stop supplies reaching the Allies. All are welcome to attend the meeting at The Methodist Church Hall, Queensway, Bletchley at 7.30.
